Forbidden City

Singapore is looking so pretty nowadays. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Convention is being held here this year. Artworks are popping up all over the country. The trees on Orchard Road are sporting polka dots and Clarke Quay has a new weblike shelter. I was there recently for a cast party for an upcoming musical I’m performing in, Forbidden City. We actually had dinner at a restaurant with the Forbidden City theme. There was a huge display on the outside to welcome us. Loads of dancing and partying happened after our tummies were full. I miss Singapore. I miss working with my friends. Recently we hung out to watch The Devil Wears Prada. It was filmed in New York City. And it was about the choices we make in life. Right now, I’m not sure which city I will end up in in the next few years. Do I continue to try and have more of a bite out of the Forbidden Big Apple or be content with what I have in Singapore? (I mean, next year, most of the country’s central zones will have free wireless access!). Hmm…
