Boys II Men to Madonna
These two very blah pictures do not represent half the excitement of the two concerts I went to. The first was at Madison Square Garden, New York - Madonna’s Confessions Tour. The second was at The Green in New Haven - Boys II Men. Of course, I have to say Madonna’s was spectacular! Her fans are definitely ageing with her so there weren’t many teens present. One thing was clear though, Madonna wasn’t about to let anyone stop her from moving on. About half the songs were from her latest album. She cleverly interspersed them with old favourites which many sang along to. The show had no encores but it was intense and for a 47 year old, Madonna certainly hasn’t lost her spunk.
Boys II Men performed to 20,000 people after a day of rain on the Green. Audiences were happy to sing along to classic hits like "End of the Road" and "I’ll Make Love To You". They also let everyone sample new sounds from an upcoming compilation album of greatest hits. It’s been a great week of concerts!
