When things go wrong…

My_first_big_saladBoy.. I had some terrible things happen to me in the past two weeks. Most of them happened in one day. I fell asleep the night before without setting my alarm, slept 11 hours through and woke up 30 mins later than I should have and rushed out of the apartment. Thankfully, I managed to croak my assigned song for the day considerably well. Then, I had a major stomach attack and nearly had to sit out of class. Not only that, later on I cut my finger while cutting mushrooms. Among other things that happened this week… I left my $1400 dollar phone at the library and went into panic running back to look for it right before I had a voice lesson. I am so thankful some honest soul returned it. "I believe in karma what you give is what you get returned". The picture above is a salad I made that ended up a little soggy. At least it tasted good. If you only had a taste of what I’ve just been through. Phew!

I’d love a taste of that salad, looks good bud!

I know what those times are like, but remember that it’s not what happens to you, but how you handle it that truly measures who you are. You seem to come out ahead with flying colors!

After hearing your amazing voice, I’m not at all surprised you were able to do well without much preparation. That’s the pay off for keeping it in good shape.

Hope you’re doing better now. :)

yeah, i remember learning to make dishes for myself in sydney - there’s a tremendous self-sufficiency in creating a real dish that ain’t cup noodles. Jared and I spent hours just cooking and cooking when we were staying together, both away from home.

i’m not a salad person, as u know, but it looks good.

glad that you didnt lose ur phone - u deserve nothing but good karma, baby.

    take care ya…
